Prawns in white wine sauce

Recipe: Prawns with white wine

  • 500 g of large prawns
  • one onion
  • 3 tbsp. of fresh oregano leaves
  • 3 tbsp. of butter
  • a cup of dry white wine
  • juice of one lemon
  • 1/4 tsp. of chili flakes
  • salt, to taste
  • Melt butter in a skillet, add diced onion and saute it. Add shrimp, season with chili and salt. Add wine, lemon juice and oregano. After 2-3 minutes increase the heat and cook until 1/3 of wine is reduced. Serve with fresh baguette.
